Victoria DiGiorgio, widely recognized as the wife of John Gotti, the infamous boss of the Gambino crime family, was born on December 5, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York. She is of half-Italian and half-Russian descent, and her parents, immigrants to the United States, worked in factories. After her parents separated when she was two years old, Victoria inherited a substantial amount of money from her mother’s ancestral property.

Though her educational background is not extensively documented, Victoria has primarily been a homemaker throughout her life. She met John Gotti at a bar in 1958 and married him on March 6, 1962. The couple had five children: three sons, including John A. Gotti and Peter J.
