Margaret Ellibee started out thinking she was meant to go into the business field, but after her first week of student teaching she knew in her heart that she wanted to be an educator.

Ellibee is the president of Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock.

She is originally from Madison, Wisconsin and she chose to come here because her family moved here. After she graduated college, she moved to Arkansas to begin her first teaching job in Stuttgart.

Ellibee received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from Iowa State University. She furthered her education and completed a Master of Science degree in general agriculture from the University of Arkansas. After receiving her master’s degree, she pursued her education even more and received a Doctor of Philosophy in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin.
